CatTrack is a personal, non-commercial app. The CatTrack administrator is responsible for how the app handles personal information and can be contacted at contact@bitdivision.dev.
Information we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, email address, display name, and profile image URL. We do not store Google access or refresh tokens. We also store the kitten profiles, weights, dates, and notes you choose to enter.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate you, keep each account's data separate, provide the service, maintain backups, troubleshoot problems, and protect the service from abuse. We rely on performance of our agreement with you to provide the service and our legitimate interests in operating it securely. We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Cookies
CatTrack uses one essential, secure session cookie to keep you signed in. It contains an opaque session identifier, is not used for advertising or analytics, and expires after 30 days of inactivity. Google may use its own cookies during Google sign-in under Google's policies.
Storage and sharing
Data is stored in a private SQLite database hosted by Fly.io and backed up to Cloudflare R2. Cloudflare also provides DNS and proxy services, and Google provides authentication. These providers process limited information as needed to provide their services. The CatTrack administrator may access the database, logs, and backups for maintenance and support. We do not otherwise share your information unless required by law or necessary to protect the service or its users.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account and kitten data while you use the service or until you ask us to delete it. Deleted information may remain in rolling backups for up to 45 days before expiring. Expired session records are removed automatically. Limited operational logs may be retained for security and troubleshooting.
Your choices and rights
You may ask for a copy or correction of your information, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. Contact contact@bitdivision.dev. If you are in the UK, you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes
We may update this policy when the service or its data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when we do.
